Today the air cooled down quite a bit, but the sun still blazed, so our house melted again! I also have a real job offer which I plan to accept!

It’s even hotter today! Kathy disassembled our fish tank and our poor fishies have been adopted by the local MegaloPet Store. Unfortunately, there’s no good, local, small fish shop. Sad when the MegaloPet employees and environment is better than the local guy… but, good for them!

So here’s another view of that same doohickey. Jen says this is a yucca, too, but I always thought yuccas were those giant spiny things that look like big porcupines. This one is about fifteen feet tall. I guess they come in different shapes and sizes, huh?

Wow, it’s back to hot again here. I went to Costco today because I finally had a midday time when I can go, and the parking lot was still completely packed. However, since it was also quite warm, the car was sizzling when I got back! I had to renew our membership [...]

On Monday our house purchaser decided she didn’t want to buy our house. Standard contingency clauses in the contract allowed her to escape the committment with no penalty, except her inspection fees, so that’s what she did.
